Dr. Chiang’s interests are in the areas of Computer Graphics, Human Computer Interaction, Augmented Reality and Non-Photorealistic Rendering. Her recent projects includes the following: “PotteryGo: A Virtual Pottery Making Training System.”, “Generation of Chinese ink portraits by blending face photographs with Chinese ink paintings”, “Interactive Exploded Focus + Context technique for volume visualization”, “Simple Smartphone-Based Guiding System for Visually Impaired People.”, “Modeling go: a mobile sketch-based modeling system for extracting objects.”,“Oncall Piano Sensei: Portable AR PianoTraining System.”. |

BIOGRAPHY |

Dr. Chiang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering at National Taipei University and Technology (NTUT), Taipei, Taiwan. She received her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from University of Southern California in 2006 and in 2011, respectively. Her research interests are in the areas of computer graphics, human computer interaction, augmented reality and non-photorealistic rendering. |
